David Dastmalchian

David Dastmalchian (* 21. Juli 1975) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Drehbuchautor und Produzent. Er spielte Nebenrollen in mehreren Superhelden-Filmen: Thomas Schiff in „The Dark Knight“ (2008), Kurt und Veb in der „Ant-Man“-Reihe, Abra Kadabra in der CW-Serie „The Flash“ und Polka-Dot Man in „The Suicide Squad“ (2021). Dastmalchian wirkte in drei Filmen von Denis Villeneuve mit: „Prisoners“ (2013), „Blade Runner 2049“ (2017) und „Dune“ (2021). Obwohl er vor allem für seine Charakterrollen bekannt ist, spielte Dastmalchian Hauptrollen in dem 2014 erschienenen, semi-autobiografischen Film „Animals“, für den er auch das Drehbuch schrieb, und in dem 2023 erschienenen Horrorfilm „Late Night with the Devil“, den er produzierte. Er wird außerdem Mr. 3 in der Netflix-Serie „One Piece“ verkörpern und hat einen Gastauftritt in der 2025 erscheinenden Fernsehserie „Dexter: Resurrection“.
