Sarah Silverman
Sarah Kate Silverman wurde am 1. Dezember 1970 in Bedford, New Hampshire, geboren. Sie ist eine US-amerikanische Komikerin, Schauspielerin und Autorin, bekannt für ihre provokante Comedy, die sich oft mit Tabuthemen wie Rassismus, Sexismus, Religion und Politik befasst. Silverman begann ihre Karriere 1993/94 bei Saturday Night Live als Autorin und Darstellerin, wurde jedoch nach einer Saison entlassen, da ihre Sketche nicht ins Programm aufgenommen wurden. Anschließend erlangte sie Bekanntheit durch ihre eigene Comedyserie The Sarah Silverman Program (2007–2010) auf Comedy Central, für die sie eine Emmy-Nominierung erhielt.
Sie spielte Nebenrollen in Filmen wie The Way of the Gun, Verrückt nach Mary, Liebe per Express, School of Rock und Der Date Profi.
