Biografie
Patsy Kensit
Patricia Jude Francis Kensit, bekannt unter Patsy Kensit, ist eine englische Schauspielerin und Sängerin. Sie begann ihre Karriere als Kinderdarstellerin und erlangte Bekanntheit durch ihre Auftritte in Werbespots für Birds Eye Tiefkühlerbsen. Anschließend wirkte sie in Filmen wie „Der große Gatsby“ (1974), „Gold“ (1974), „Alfie Darling“ (1975), „Hennessy“ (1975), „Der blaue Vogel“ (1976) und „Hanover Street“ (1979) mit. 1983 gründete Kensit die Popband Eighth Wonder, deren Leadsängerin sie wurde. Die Band landete mit den Hits „I’m Not Scared“ und „Cross My Heart“ Top-20-Erfolge, bevor sie sich 1989 auflöste.
Weitere Erfolge feierte Patsy mit ihrer Durchbruchrolle als Suzette in dem Musicalfilm „Absolute Beginners“ (1986) und als Rika van den Haas in „Lethal Weapon 2“ (1989).
